Mission Statement
To Provide Assistance To Poor and Needy Families.
What We Do
At Adopt a Needy Family, our mission is to care for the whole family—children and parents alike—by addressing both immediate and ongoing needs. Social workers help us identify families who are most in need, and our representatives personally interview each family to ensure they meet the program’s criteria and are not receiving seasonal aid from other sources.
Our support is especially focused on Thanksgiving and Christmas, times when families feel the weight of financial struggles most acutely. The families we serve often lack even the most basic necessities—bedding, detergent, hygiene products, and clothing. Beyond essentials, approved families are invited to create a wish list, which often reflects daily living needs and household items. We encourage donors to also bring holiday joy with gifts and toys for children, many of whom would otherwise go without.
What sets Adopt a Needy Family apart is our commitment to the entire family. We strive to instill hope, joy, and dignity, providing not only holiday support but also year-round assistance with groceries, utility bills, and other critical needs. Every act of generosity reminds these families that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
