Gift Wrapping Day December 8….will you join us?
Every year we join together to wrap the donated gifts. The gift wrappers come from schools, churches, and businesses some are adopters, some are students looking for service hours and others just come to wrap the gifts that will brighten a families day. On this day we all have one mission, wrap the gifts as if they were for our own families.
This year the Gift Wrapping Day will be on Saturday December 8, 2012 at St. Anthony Catholic High School. For directions click here: St. Anthony Catholic High School
Give Thanks by Giving
Who are you shopping for this season? As you enjoy looking at all the toys, pick up an extra gift and take it to any Jefferson Bank – 12 neighborhood locations throughout the San Antonio area. KABB FOX 29 San Antonio and Jefferson Bank are sponsoring Give Thanks by Giving, a toy drive to benefit Adopt a Needy Family. Drop off toys or cash donations before the end of November.
There are families in need….will you help?
The families served by Adopt A Needy Family are in need of the most basic necessities, such as bedding, detergent, hygiene products and clothing. Since the program takes part during Christmas, we ask to buy some toys for the children and gifts for parents since they would not be able to afford them.
What is unique about Adopt A Needy Family, is that this program assists the entire family.
It’s the small things we take for granted that are so important to those we serve…. Can you give today?
We wake up in the morning and follow our routine; brush our teeth, take a shower, shave, brush our hair and continue the day without giving it a second thought. Did you know there are families that would not be able to do the same without your help.
The needs of the families we serve are year round and can change in an instant. The items listed below are a snapshot of what the families we serve ask for:

- Grooming Items – razors, shaving cream, hair brush, etc.

- Clothing – pants, shirts, socks, etc.
- Athletic equipment – footballs, soccer balls, basketballs, etc.

- Children’s Toys
